"Maiden's Consent: The Annals of Rosalia" Begins Publication

Today marks the beginning of serialization for the first Annals of Rosalia book, Maiden's Consent. We plan to release one chapter a month until the book has been completely published; and we have plans for at least another Rosalia book afterwards. You can look forward to new chapters every month. Follow our Twitter, join our Discord server, or grab our RSS feed (are those still a thing?) to get pinged when a new chapter release is made.

This serialization is the culmination of a rather long and tumultuous journey to bring this book to fruition. Strictly speaking, the entire book is written; and I am currently in the process of editing it into it's final revision. This is why we've chosen to release chapters serially. We considered perhaps crowdfunding a completed book, or just putting the book on one of a myriad of self-publication services. However, this would have meant waiting far longer to publish the book, and limits the amount of feedback we can meaningfully solicit from readers. We chose serial publication as it's a model that works well for longer-running projects that need time to build a fanbase.

In the near-term future, we also plan to run an ongoing crowdfunding campaign, which may also include access to either exclusive materials, early access to new chapters, or something else. (We haven't decided yet.) When such a campaign launches, it will be announced through those same chapters.
